Palm Beach County has launched its year-long Countywide Transportation Master Plan, kicking off with a public meeting at the Vista Center in West Palm Beach. Led by the county and engineering firm WSP, the initiative seeks community input on future transportation priorities as the region grows.
Residents raised concerns about bicycle safety, traffic light synchronization, maintaining transit access, and preserving the character of western neighborhoods. Planners will address needs across commuting, local travel, freight, and alternative modes, moving through a four-phase process that includes ongoing public engagement.
The $1 million project is intended to guide long-term improvements and could help shape future funding measures for infrastructure.
